DoubleTrack will work with almost any frame. The carbon rods have enough flex to handle top tubes with a significant curve, as long as that curve is uniform (think Sklar Bikes).

For more complex shapes, we can still usually use the system but we may replace the carbon fiber rods with plastic ones. This requires straps to be placed more frequently as the plastic is not as strong, but it can be bent into different shapes to match your frame.

Most likely! Our molded TPU spacers are designed to slide and rotate to account for different tube shapes - we have yet to find a bike where it won't work, including bulky and square carbon fiber tube profiles.

Or, choose Panda's Choice and we'll choose the best options for your frame! We'll use bolts wherever possible, DoubleTrack on the top tube if you don't have bolts, and individual TPU straps where needed on the other tubes.

At this time, we are only putting DoubleTrack on the top tube of frame bags (and occasionally the seat tube).

This is for the occupational safety of our production crew - if DoubleTrack is on all 3 sides of a bag it becomes difficult to install it on the second and third side.

We recommend other attachments on the seat tube and down tube anyway. Bolts are usually available, and your frame bag isn't fighting gravity on those tubes so outside of bolts only a small strap or two is needed.

DoubleTrack adds between 50-65 grams to the weight of a bag, compared to hook-and-loop straps or bolt-on attachments.

In part for this reason, we recommend DoubleTrack only on the top tube. That's where your bag has to fight gravity and the system makes the most difference.

Good news! We have a special, taller version of our spacer that creates a space for under-the-top-tube housing. There can still be some pressure on the housing, but not enough to cause damage or shifting problems.

Note that this only applies to fully housed cables - you have exposed cables under the top tube we recommend hook-and-loop straps instead.
