Shipping Changes Coming April 25th
The times are a-changin', and so must our shipping policy. In truth this is long overdue, but we held off as long as we could. But we're announcing this with plenty of time for folks to get orders in! Here are the big changes, effective April 25th 2025:
USA Free Shipping threshold changes from 100 USD to 300 USD
We have long had the lowest free shipping threshold of the small-scale bikepacking brands, and we can't continue to absorb that cost on lower-value orders. So our free shipping threshold is changing to $300 for US orders.
Below 300 USD, there will be two flat-rate options for all locations except Alaska:
- USPS for $6.50
- UPS for $10
Alaska Shipping
We have been providing AK the same shipping rates as the rest of the country, and we need to pull back on that a bit. We will still provide affordable flat-rate shipping, just not so cheap. Shipping will be free for orders over $300 (will ship via Priority Mail) and below that we have these options:
- USPS Ground Advantage $7.50
- USPS Priority Mail $15
- UPS Ground $30
Above 300 USD we can also ship UPS, but the flat-rate price on that will be $50. It costs us more to ship a large package to AK via UPS than it does to ship to Canada or Europe!
International Shipping
We totally understand if customers don't want to support a US-based company like ours, given the current political situation. But we really appreciate our international customers and we've made some improvements to international shipping - we have pre-calculated duties/taxes/tariffs, and free shipping on larger orders!
In addition, we are paying the currency conversion costs and brokerage fees of international orders instead of passing them on to you. We will do this until the trade war ends and tariffs reduce.
Canada Free Shipping Threshold Change
In addition to paying the processing costs as outlined above, we have free shipping on larger orders to Canada! This is active now and will stay in place, but the threshold will change from 400 CAD to 500 CAD on April 25th.
End of Free Socks (for now)
We have stopped the "Free socks at 300 USD" program, for now - this one is effective immediately because we ran our stock totally dry on some styles! We will probably have other swag items offered at a different threshold in the future.
