Recommendations

Bolt-On

The Esker crew did a great job on the Hayduke, providing us with plenty of mounts for a fully bolted bag! We recommend bolt-on on all three tubes if you don't expect to remove the bag frequently. One thing to note, we may not use every bolt on your frame - see our note below.

That said, if quick removal is a priority then hook-and-loop is the way to go. We do provide thumb screws with our bolt-on bags, but because the Hayduke also uses those bolts for cable routing that adds another step to the install/removal process.

Front Bolt Considerations

On some Hayduke frames the front-most bolts on the down tube and top tube come really close together, and installation will be a royal pain or perhaps impossible. On these frames we will reach out to you after you order to see what you'd like to do. In most cases we'll put a strap in place of the bolt.

For the 2025 Haydukes, this affects only the size Small in steel, but for titanium bikes it affects Small, Medium and Large.
