The Edge Lumbar by Hydrapak is a 1.5-liter reservoir that fits perfectly in our Huachuca Hip Pack. It has a built in baffle system that reduces water sloshing and wraps around your waist better than an un-baffled* bladder.

Storage Tip

Because of the baffles it's hard to dry out after use - so we recommend draining it and storing it in the freezer if you won't be using it for several days.

*Baffled on why this would help? A totally full bladder is like a firm football - not very comfortable to strap to your back. One option is to pull a Tom Brady and partially deflate that football. Or skip the funny business with the Edge - it has two welded seams about a third of the way from each side. Those create points where the bladder can fold to match the contours of your back!
