We've tested this system on rugged singletrack bikepacking with no ejected bottles or other problems. The NC-150 is very tough and lightweight, about half the weight of most metal cages. Soma bottles provide the maximum possible water carrying capacity with standard bike bottle diameter, which means less effect on your steering than if you mounted wider bottles such as Nalgenes. And finally, our 15" RPGP straps are super grippy and also come with strap keepers, so you won't have to hear the strap ends clacking away for your entire trip.
