Alamo Top Tube Bag - Installation

Strap Attachments

Step 1:

Pull apart straps and hold TPU Spacer with flat side up. Pull the strap through from below, with the non-slip fabric facing the inside of the spacer.

Step 2:

Line up strap and TPU Spacer with corresponding slit on bottom of bag, and pull through until spacer is flat against the bag's surface.

Step 3:

Run the strap through the bottom of the bag and out the second slit and through the TPU Spacer.

Step 4:

Wrap strap around top tube, through the plastic loop and pull to tighten.

Straps should be tight! Don't be shy.

Pro-tip: Start with the bag slightly angled away from you, because the bag will rotate towards you as you tighten the straps.

Step 5:

Repeat "Step 4" for the second strap. We provide two strap options: a second shorter strap (for wrapping around the top tube) or the longer strap shown here for wrapping around the down tube as well.

Step 6:

All done! Pull the bag to the center of your top tube if needed, and double check that your straps are tight!

If you slap the bag and it moves around on your top tube, the straps aren't tight enough.

Bolt-On

Step 1:

Flip open the padded liner and line up bolt holes with frame bolts. There are three different bolt options to choose from.

Our default bolt options work for bikes with the first bolt between 2.75" and 4.5" behind the stem, and the second bolt another 2.5" behind the first. Custom placements are available if this doesn't match your bike.

Step 2:

Place a washer on each bolt. Line up bolts to bolt holes and hand tighten. Tighten with a wrench until snug.

Step 3:

Fold down padded liner and tuck under elastic strap.

Step 4:

All done! Tighten bolts as needed.
