These are the bar "inners" you've been waiting for! Our Bamboo Shoots are bar extensions that have sweep adjustment *and* a swing clamp. So not only can you find the perfect angle for your grubby little panda paws, you can also install them just for the long rides that need them, then take them off in a flash when you need to send it in style off some sick jumps.
The Bamboo Shoots have a traditional 22.2mm bar, offset to improve finger clearance to brake levers and compatible with silicone grips. We tried every ergonomic option out there and kept coming back to the comfort of a straight bar with cushy grips. So we forged our own path instead*.
We have Wolf Tooth Razer Grips available, custom-cut to fit the Bamboo Shoots. Or you can use whichever silicone grip you like. Or, cut down a lock-on grip. Or wrap them in bar tape. Or fruit-by-the-foot**? Whatever floats your oyster.
Note: We recommend either a silicone grip or cut-down lock-on, because you can peel the grip back to access the sweep adjustment bolt. If you'd like to wrap your Bamboo Shoots in bar tape, it's best to figure out your sweep and put locktite on the sweep adjustment bolt before you wrap in bar tape. Or, cut a bolt access hole after you add the bar tape.
*Well technically we *machined* our own path, since these aren't forged? ... we'll see ourselves out.
